| Sumario: | The development of this research is part of a more extensive work developed in my doctoral thesis entitled "Landscape and architectural project, transformations and extensions on the river-city edge, in the central area of Buenos Aires". The central objective of the thesis was to construct a hermeneutic that connects the project intelligence developed in the disciplinary field of architects, with a multidisciplinary externality defined as the cultural construction of the landscape. Within the framework of this more general question, the challenge of this work is to present a provisional model that allows analyzing and interpreting the complex result of the material landscape. The model that is proposed is based on the notion of stratum. Assuming the hypothesis that such a model can act as an exploration tool to be applied and improved in other landscape clippings. In the same way as it happened in the development of the thesis, it is argued that the model allows us to locate specific evidence of the way in which certain design strategies have consolidated certain landscape logics in complex material landscapes. |
