description According to Gianni Vattimo, today increasing worldviews involve the ability to change one's point of view in a figurative representation. This changes the way of thinking about the subject and the truth of the phenomenon and, therefore, the subject will be characterized by the inner division of feeling multiple certainties and a lack of them. In this regard, T. Todorov believes that figurative representation occurs in a triple dimension that reveals the differences existing in the reality around which this problem revolves. The concept of figurative representation is central in order to be able to ensure its space in idiomatic expressions as a cultural imprint within a language-culture tradition both at an iconic (linguistic imaginary) and a semantic-expressive (repeated speech) level. Such representation needs an instance of mediation that can make it visible and the role of idiomatic expressions in this sense is fundamental. This paper, included in the research project "Creation of a Phraseodidactic Database of Italian-Spanish & Spanish-Italian Idiomatic Expressions", takes as its starting point a phraseological theory that relies on Hermeneutics and Reader-Oriented Theory in order to survey the traits that make the figurative representation emerge from a corpus of idiomatic expression choices as paradigmatic examples. A brief conclusion will then be drawn from the Todorovian perspective on the question of this representation at epistemological, axiological and praxeological levels as a representation of animals among others, as an inner division and starting from the analysis in a contrastive way as a contribution of new knowledge to language teaching and translation.

Secondo Gianni Vattimo oggi, la moltiplicazione delle visioni del mondo comporta la capacità di mutare il proprio punto di vista nella rappresentazione figurale. Questo fa cambiare il modo di pensare il soggetto e la verità fenomenica e quindi, il soggetto verrà caratterizzato dalla scissione interiore, dal sentirsi molteplici e dalla mancanza di certezze. Riguardo a questo, T. Todorov, ritiene che la rappresentazione figurale avvenga in una triplice dimensione che rivela le differenze esistenti nella realtà intorno a cui gira questa problematica. Il concetto di rappresentazione figurale è cardine ai fini di poter garantire lo spazio di essa nelle espressioni idiomatiche (in avanti e.i.) quale impronta culturale all’interno di una tradizione lingua-cultura sia a livello iconico (immaginario linguistico) che semantico-espressivo (discorso ripetuto). Tale rappresentazione ha bisogno di un’istanza di mediazione che riesca a farla visibile e il ruolo delle e.i. in questo senso è fondamentale..  Questo lavoro, inserito nell’ambito del Progetto di Ricerca «Creazione di una banca dati fraseodidattica di espressioni idiomatiche italiano-spagnolo, spagolo-italiano» prende come punto di partenza una teoria fraseologica che fa ricorso all’ermeneutica e alla Reader-Oriented Theory allo scopo di fare un rilevamento dei tratti che fanno emergere la rappresentazione figurale attraverso un corpus di e.i. scelte quali esempi paradigmatici. Verrà tratta poi una breve conclusione dall'ottica todoroviana relativa alla questione di tale rappresentazione sui piani epistemologico, assiologico e prasseologico quale rappresentazione dell’animalità tra altre, come scissione interiore e partendo dall’analisi in chiave constrastiva a modo di contributo di nuove conoscence per l'insegnamento della lingua e la traduzione.
