| Sumario: | The National Museum of History is an institution located at the heart of San Telmo, a traditional neighborhood in Buenos Aires. This paper submits to a situational analysis its rooms, the objects exhibited in them, and even the reception desk. A walk around gives a chance to open questions about using singular nouns, adopting beauty as curatorial criteria, and about the notions of time and history implicated in the exhibition. Therefore, this journey gives an account of fractures, discontinuities, and disjunctions provoked by the past in the present. |
