Sumario:Towards the end of May, Dra. Hebe Vessuri visited our city to impart a seminar in the Anthropology’s Master of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities entitled "Topics of / for the current Latin American STS". It was proposed to reflect and discuss the status of the issue of Science and Technology Studies (CTS) in the region. Embracing this opportunity, we proposed her an interview with Etcétera about her career, the institutionalization of social anthropology in our country, the interdisciplinary work in the scientific field and the ways of doing science at a national / international level, among other issues. The interview took place in a CIFFyH’s office, after one of the seminar classes, and was accompanied by a tour of the facilities of our research center. As it is proposed by the Conversas’s section, the words of Hebe Vessuri allow us to reflect on the exercise of the social sciences, mainly in Latin American countries, and offer us inputs to analyze contemporary scientific policies. As an editorial collective, we appreciate the kindness and the time granted by Hebe, presenting here the result of the meeting.
