| Sumario: | The aim of the present work is to elucidate the concept of sorority and to show that that notion is a fundamental structure in the construction of a community of solidarity. Such a notion is encompassed together with an ethic of care as a core foundation. Firstly, it traces the history of the concept of sorority highlighting the chronology and development of such concept. Secondly, the classical notion of communityis constructed through this union, thus achieving a new social construction: the idea of community of solidarity traversed by the sorority pact. |
