Sumario:This investigation is centered on territorial disputes in the city of Santa Fe (Argentina) regarding the infrastructure projects needed for the city's development and those projects that the community and social organizations consider necessary to live. Here, the struggle carried out by the production of existence abled the formulation of social policies from the territory. What we propose is to pay close attention to these ways of -doing- which are built on a dispute based on the recognition of capacity to decide on life. The flight to live puts women in the centre, who by defending their territory question the colonial notion of development and progress that their territories deprive. In this matter,  through a multi-method approach where different empirical evidence converge, we pretend to add content to the observation of what forms of common production  are acquired in a specific struggle.
