Based on the experience of the work of the Seminari "Filosofia i Gènere" of the University of Barcelona to carry out research on the work of women philosophers, this article shows how the reading of Arendt provides useful heuristic tools to approach the history of feminine thought, as well as illuminating the path that feminist theory has taken to re-signify political freedom and feminine subjectivity. The article is divided into four parts: In the first, "A hidden tradition?", Arendt's notion is used as a way of addressing the relations between women philosophers born on the threshold of the twentieth century. The second and the "insurrectional feminism" of the 1970s and the last quarter of the 20th century provide a useful conceptual network for locating women's political freedom and for distinguishing between liberation and freedom and between equality and homogeneity. Finally, "Arendt and the Ambiguities of Female Emancipation" briefly looks at Arendt's relationship to the feminist movement of her time and highlights how later feminism has paradoxically been one of the driving forces behind the re-reading of her political theory. |

A partir de la experiencia del trabajo del Seminari “Filosofia i Gènere” de la Universidad de Barcelona para llevar a cabo la investigación sobre la obra de las filósofas, este artículo muestra cómo la lectura de Arendt proporciona herramientas heurísticas útiles para abordar la historia del pensamiento femenino, así como ilumina el camino que la teoría feminista ha realizado para resignificar la libertad política y la subjetividad femenina. El articulo está dividido en cuatro partes: En la primera, “¿Una tradición oculta?”, se recurre a esta noción arendtiana cómo vía para tratar las relaciones entre las filosofas nacidas en el umbral del siglo XX. La segunda y la tercera partes, “A corta distancia de la obra de Arendt” y “Natalidad, mundo y pluralidad” trenzan las palabras heredadas de Arendt junto con el legado del “feminismo insurreccional” de la década de 1970 y del último cuarto de siglo de XX y proporcionan una red conceptual útil para ubicar la libertad política de las mujeres y para distinguir entre liberación y libertad y entre igualdad y homogeneidad. Por último, “Arendt y las ambigüedades de la emancipación femenina” se acerca brevemente a la relación de Arendt con el movimiento feminista de su época y subraya cómo el feminismo posterior ha sido paradójicamente uno de los impulsores de la relectura de su teoría política. Com base na experiência do trabalho do Seminari "Filosofia i Gènere" da Universidade de Barcelona para realizar pesquisas sobre o trabalho de mulheres filósofas, este artigo mostra como a leitura de Arendt fornece ferramentas heurísticas úteis para abordar a história do pensamento feminino, além de iluminar o caminho que a teoria feminista tomou para ressignificar a liberdade política e a subjetividade feminina. O artigo está dividido em quatro partes: na primeira, "Uma tradição oculta?", a noção de Arendt é usada como forma de abordar as relações entre as filósofas nascidas no limiar do século XX. O segundo e o "feminismo insurrecional" dos anos 1970 e do último quarto do século XX fornecem uma rede conceitual útil para localizar a liberdade política das mulheres e para distinguir entre liberação e liberdade e entre igualdade e homogeneidade.
