Sumario:Introduction: The World Health Organization (2020) declared the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide, due to the severity of the disease and rapid spread of the coronavirus, considering the global magnitude of the COVID-19 disease in health personnel, due to the absence of the epidemiological pattern of health workers with COVID-19. Objective: to analyze the prevalence of COVID-19 disease in nursing staff of the private hospital of Córdoba, Argentina 2020-2021. Methodology: epidemiological, quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study, variables prevalence of COVID-19 disease. Population: 240 nurses. Source: secondary; Technique: documented, Instrument: questionnaire created for this research. Results: the prevalence of Covid-19 disease was 56.55% for the 2020 period and 43.44% for the 2021 period Discussion: The study of the prevalence of COVID-19 disease in nursing staff will not provide evidence of causality , but rather assessed the need to implement new preventive measures to prevent the spread of the virus among health workers or reinforce existing ones, plan health care, nursing care and health services. Conclusion: The Ministry of Health of Córdoba (2020) the confirmed cases of Covid-19 of the nursing staff, did not occur due to clean or dirty areas, the use of personal protective equipment, hand hygiene, in general, was related to the organization and protocols of the institution implemented in pandemic.
