Every 12th of May, the International Nurses Day is celebrated, which commemorates the birth of Florence Nightingale. The initiative comes from the International Council of Nurses (ICN), which distinguishes nurses’ contributions to each of the work areas. At the Nursing School of the School of Medical Sciences of the National University of Córdoba, an experience was carried out during five virtual interview meetings via the Instagram application. The meetings had the objective of becoming acquainted with the referents’ own meaning of being a nurse from their own voices in their own workspaces and throughout their careers. By expressing their motivations to choose the Nursing Licentiate Course, an expression of a significant caregiving experience emerges. As a part of the extensive careers of the protagonists of this experience, it is worth pointing out their work from a dimension that takes into account the implementation of gender-perspective policies at their workplaces. The experience leads to the conclusion that, in order for future generations to transmit values of equality, it is key to have a strong education in gender policies from the standpoint of a critical social paradigm that allows for the transmission of interest, of an analytical view, of deconstruction and of mobilization. |

Cada 12 de mayo se conmemora el día de celebración Internacional de la Enfermera, fundamentado por el natalicio de Florence Nightingale; la iniciativa parte del Consejo Internacional de Enfermería (CIE), intenta destacar a enfermeras/os a partir de las contribuciones en cada uno de los espacios de trabajo. En la Escuela de Enfermería de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, se llevó a cabo una experiencia de cinco encuentros virtuales, con modalidad entrevistas en vivo por la aplicación de Instagram. Los encuentros tuvieron como finalidad develar de la propia voz de los referentes, el significado del ser enfermero/a para cada uno/a de los/as participantes, desde su espacio laboral y trayectoria. A partir de expresar las motivaciones sobre la elección de la carrera de Licenciatura en Enfermería, se desprende la expresión de una experiencia significativa de cuidado. Se destaca como parte de la amplia trayectoria de las protagonistas de esta experiencia, el accionar desde una dimensión que considera la aplicación de políticas con perspectiva de género en sus espacios laborales. La experiencia permite concluir, la fortaleza de formación en políticas de género, desde un paradigma crítico social que contagie el interés, la visión analítica, la deconstrucción y la movilización, como el camino que deben conseguir para que generaciones futuras transmitan valores en igualdad. Todo dia 12 de maio é comemorado o Dia Internacional do Enfermeiro, fundado pelo nascimento de Florence Nightingale; A iniciativa é do Conselho Internacional de Enfermagem (ICN), e procura destacar os enfermeiros pelas contribuições em cada um dos espaços de trabalho. Na Escola de Enfermagem da Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Universidade Nacional de Córdoba, foi realizada uma experiência de cinco encontros virtuais, com entrevistas ao vivo por meio do aplicativo Instagram. O objetivo dos encontros foi revelar a partir da própria voz, dos referentes, o significado de ser enfermeiro para cada um dos participantes, a partir de seu espaço de trabalho e trajetória. Da expressão das motivações para a escolha do curso de Licenciatura em Enfermagem emerge a expressão de uma experiência significativa de cuidado. A atuação a partir de uma dimensão que considera a aplicação de políticas com perspectiva de gênero em seus espaços de trabalho destaca-se como parte da extensa trajetória das pessoas que são protagonistas dessa experiência.
