It seems that the emergence of social networks in all areas of human development, mainly in the field of communication, would generate new ways of ties, behaviors, habits mainly in young people, therefore, a special appreciation is required when addressing social networks and adolescents in terms of opportunities and that is why, the objective was to investigate the level of knowledge that the first educators, parents, have in relation to the influences of social networks in their adolescent children, in order to provide accompaniment , proximity and confidence in this modality link, already installed. Methodological design: prospective, descriptive and transversal. The population was made up of parents of teenage children who attended public and private schools in the city of La Calera (n = 250). The data collection technique was a survey and as a tool a self-administered questionnaire with closed questions was used. Source: primary. Results: 94.8% use the social network Facebook (Mo) and to a much lesser extent the other social networks. In relation to parents' knowledge about positive influences of virtual social networks on their children, 57% of adults said "There are no positive influences on their children." 22% said there are positive influences because it allows social integration. Conclusion: most parents know the negative and positive aspects of social networks about their teenage children. |

En el presente trabajo se presentan los resultados de una investigación sobre el conocimiento de los padres respecto de las influencias de las redes sociales virtuales en sus hijos adolescentes. Pareciera que la irrupción de las redes sociales en todos los ámbitos del desarrollo humano, principalmente en el campo de la comunicación, generaría nuevas maneras de vínculos, conductas, hábitos principalmente en los jóvenes, por lo cual, se requiere una apreciación especial al abordar las redes sociales y los adolescentes en términos de oportunidades y es por ello, que el objetivo fue indagar el nivel de conocimiento que poseen los primeros educadores, los padres, en relación con las influencias de las redes sociales en sus hijos adolescentes, para poder brindar acompañamiento, cercanía y confianza en esta modalidad vincular, ya instalada. Diseño Metodológico: prospectivo, descriptivo y transversal. La población estuvo conformada por padres de hijos adolescentes que concurrieron a los colegios públicos y privados de la ciudad de La Calera (n=250). La técnica de recolección de datos fue una encuesta y como instrumento se utilizó un cuestionario auto-administrado con preguntas cerradas. Fuente: primaria. Resultados: el 94,8% utilizan la red social Facebook (Mo) y en mucha menor medida las otras redes sociales. En relación con los conocimientos que poseen los padres acerca de influencias positivas de las redes sociales virtuales en sus hijos, el 57% de los adultos dijo que “No hay influencias positivas en sus hijos”. El 22% sostuvo que sí hay influencias positivas porque permite la integración social. Conclusión: la mayoría de los padres conoce los aspectos negativos y positivos de las redes sociales sobre sus hijos adolescentes. No presente trabalho são apresentados os resultados de uma investigação sobre o conhecimento dos pais sobre as influências das redes sociais virtuais sobre seus filhos adolescentes. Parece que a irrupção das redes sociais em todas as áreas do desenvolvimento humano, principalmente no campo da comunicação, geraria novas formas de vínculos, comportamentos, hábitos, principalmente nos jovens, portanto, uma especial valorização é necessária na abordagem do redes sociais e adolescentes em termos de oportunidades e por isso o objetivo foi investigar o nível de conhecimento que os primeiros educadores, pais, têm em relação às influências das redes sociais nos seus filhos adolescentes, a fim de dar suporte , proximidade e confiança nesta modalidade de vinculação, já instalada. Desenho metodológico: prospectivo, descritivo e transversal. A população foi constituída por pais de filhos adolescentes que frequentavam escolas públicas e privadas na cidade de La Calera (n = 250). A técnica de coleta de dados foi a survey e foi utilizado como instrumento um questionário autoaplicável com questões fechadas. Fonte: primária. Resultados: 94,8% utilizam a rede social Facebook (Mo) e em muito menor medida as demais redes sociais. Em relação ao conhecimento que os pais têm sobre as influências positivas das redes sociais virtuais sobre os filhos, 57% dos adultos afirmaram que “Não há influências positivas sobre os filhos”. 22% disseram que existem influências positivas porque permite a integração social. Conclusão: a maioria dos pais conhece os aspectos negativos e positivos das mídias sociais em seus filhos adolescentes.
