| Sumario: | Introduction The social image of a profession is conditioned by the way in which its featuresand qualities are produced and reproduced, among other things, in different media. ObjectiveTo establish how the care of nurses with transformations in body image perceive the patientsbetween 18-35 years and 36 or more years admitted to the Aconcagua sanatorium and theHospital Nacional de Clínicas de la Ciudad de Córdoba, first 2019 semester. For Watson(2005), the care perception scheme is unique in each person and is built on the basis of previousexperiences, sensations, feelings. Methodo: quantitative descriptive cross-sectional research. The variables under study are feelings, sensations and previous experiences in relation tothe care provided. Population constituted by 100 patients, from the hospitalization serviceof two health institutions, who were assisted during their hospitalization period, by nursingpersonnel with tattoos, piercings and dreadlocks in the first semester of 2019. Source: primary;technique: survey; instrument: interview card. Results and Discussion according to Troncoso& Suazo (2011), the human personality is sensitive to the attitudes of others, for which itsbehavior will be rewarded if it agrees with the subsystem or punished if it deviates from it,as is the use of tattoos, piercings and unconventional hair in nurses. The feelings variableshowed 60% conformity. In previous experiences, satisfaction was 68% in the youngest group.Positive feelings occupied 73% in the 18-35 age group. Conclusions The perception of patientswho receive care from nurses with body modifications generates acceptance in general lines, highlighting their greatest followers among those interviewed belonging to the youngest agegroup. |
