| Sumario: | The damage to the person has taken on an unexpected dimension. It is not only about damage to psychophysical integrity, but also damage to the most intimate sphere of the person: their personal data. Technology, we have verified, has a power to damage this sphere never before known. It is therefore urgent to rethink Orgaz's theory in favor of objective protection at least for certain areas. Especially in times when the collection, circulation and secondary uses of personal data have ceased to be a strictly individual issue as new collective threats to fundamental rights appear through the use of algorithms for discriminatory or political purposes. |
