| Sumario: | In the media, it is an urgent challenge to apply a critical and transfeminist approach to the coverage of LGBTIQ+ hate crimes, adopting ethical, sensitive, and responsible journalistic practices with a human rights perspective on sexual diversity. This article analyzes, through the lens of affective turn theories, the emotional narratives of hate and fear present in the media coverage by the digital portals Cadena 3, La Voz, and Cba24n of the transfemicide of Sofía Bravo in 2023. Furthermore, it compares the coverage of this case with those of Laura Moyano, in 2015, and Azul Montoro, in 2017, aiming to identify recurring patterns and potential evolutions in media coverage over time. |
