| Sumario: | This article traces the representations disseminated through mass media to the inhabitants of affected territories regarding the intensive production model of transgenics. Its aim is to shed light on the contradictions inherent in this model. To achieve this, the symbolic analysis begins with the advertisement titled “United Republic of Soy” published by the Syngenta company across various media. From this point of view, relationships are established between the appropriation of seed microspaces and the journalistic, political, legal, and economic narratives of different countries. |
