Sumario:The objective of this article is to further enlighten the relationship, integration and complementarity among the instances of Psychological Evaluation and intervention in the psychotherapeutic treatment of stress, as they are considered fundamental in its approach. The assessment makes it possible to identify stressors and individual responses to stress, while interventions focus on reducing or eliminating stressors and on providing tools to people who suffer from stress so that they can broaden the range of coping strategies. A conceptual scheme in stress intervention is presented, as well as a series of possible strategies to use to optimize the quality of life of the consulting people.
