Sumario:This article proposed that the various symptoms attributed to "Post Covid Syndromes" or "Persistent Covid" that are being described in several publications and increasingly observed in the daily practice share clinical manifestations with Central Sensitive Syndrome, which includes Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, anxiety, sleep disorders, cognitive difficulties added to transitory depressive syndromes and alterations in the abilities of concentration, attention and memory. These manifestations are similar to those observed in persistent, latent and recurrent viral syndromes, especially those caused by Herpes Virus 1 and 2 and Epstein Barr with an increase in specific IgG-type antibodies coinciding with exacerbations of symptoms. Finally, a hypothesis that links CNS nuclei, such as the cerebral insula, with neuro-immunoinflammatory memory is discussed.
