| Sumario: | In this article we propose to analyze the private and governmental collections of a political elite that controlled government agencies during the 1920s. Through the prosopographic method and the triangulation of information contained in the Archivo Particular Abelardo L. Rodríguez, Fideicomiso Archivo Plutarco Elías Calles-Fernando Torreblanca and Archivo Histórico Genaro Estrada, we document the ruling group’s perceptions of internal and external problems, their fears, information gathering, and actions implemented through the consular service to overthrow opposition groups in exile in the United States. |
