The documentation that comprise it constitute a privileged material to study through the process of creation and officialization of schools, the link between families, state officials and rurality in the province of Entre Ríos. Throughout this paper, we first highlight some texts that challenge us to propose an approach to the files. Secondly, we describe the files, taking into account the epistolary demands that gave rise to them, the documentation attached to the request and the administrative process involved in the creation and officialisation of schools. Finally, we present a possible agenda of topics to be explored in depth in the light of this documentation. En este artículo nos proponemos difundir y poner en valor la Serie “Creación, oficialización y nominación de Escuelas” del Fondo Educación del Archivo General de Entre Ríos. Los expedientes que la integran constituyen un material privilegiado para estudiar, a través del proceso de la creación y oficialización de escuelas, el vínculo entre familias, funcionarios estatales y ruralidad en la provincia de Entre Ríos. A lo largo de este trabajo, en primer lugar destacamos algunos textos que nos brindan claves de lectura para aproximarnos a los expedientes. En segundo lugar, realizamos una descripción de los expedientes, teniendo en cuenta las demandas epistolares que les dieron origen, la documentación anexada al pedido y el proceso administrativo que conllevaba la creación y oficialización de escuelas.
