| Sumario: | In this article we intend to disseminate and enhance the value of the series “Creation, officialisation and nomination of schools” from the Education Fund of the General Archive of Entre Ríos. The documentation that comprise it constitute a privileged material to study through the process of creation and officialization of schools, the link between families, state officials and rurality in the province of Entre Ríos. Throughout this paper, we first highlight some texts that challenge us to propose an approach to the files. Secondly, we describe the files, taking into account the epistolary demands that gave rise to them, the documentation attached to the request and the administrative process involved in the creation and officialisation of schools. Finally, we present a possible agenda of topics to be explored in depth in the light of this documentation. |
