Also, we examined the multiplicity of documents and archives available to approach, under these new paradigms, the allegations of corruption that surrounded the autonomist management of Governor José Gálvez (1886-1890) and that were linked to the scandal of the “Banco Provincial de Santa Fe”. En el presente artículo nos proponemos analizar las características de los recientes estudios sobre la corrupción, enmarcados en la llamada “Nueva” Historia Cultural de la Corrupción Política y en la renovación de las fuentes históricas utilizadas por los investigadores en sus indagaciones. Asimismo, examinamos la multiplicidad de documentación y archivos disponibles para abordar, bajo estos nuevos paradigmas, las denuncias de corrupción que envolvieron a la gestión autonomista del gobernador José Gálvez (1886-1890) y que se vincularon al escándalo del Banco Provincial de Santa Fe.
