This Court functioned in the Bishopric of Tucuman since its foundation in 1570. The Episcopal Court does not have its own separate archive but it is blurred and immersed in the corpus that composes the archive of the Archbishopric of Cordoba. Thus, the funds of the Episcopal Court currently have imprecise limits and are included within the Archbishopric’s Archive. We aim to study the formation of the archive of the Court specially looking at its context of emergence and the place it had in the Archbishopric’s Archive. El presente trabajo analiza la particularidad y la indiferenciación de los fondos de la Audiencia Episcopal que funcionaba en el Obispado del Tucumán desde su fundación en 1570. La Audiencia Episcopal no posee su propio archivo diferenciado, sino que se encuentra difuminado e inmerso en el corpus que componen los fondos del Archivo del Arzobispado de Córdoba. Es así que los fondos de la Audiencia Episcopal poseen actualmente límites imprecisos y se encuentran incluidos dentro del Archivo del Arzobispado. Nos proponemos reconstruir la conformación del archivo de la Audiencia Episcopal de Córdoba, a partir de una mirada crítica sobre el contexto de surgimiento y el lugar que tuvo en el Archivo arzobispal.
