Sumario:Bank of Buenos Aires Province, founded in 1822, is the first Hispanic-American bank which has not only been trading for the last 190 years, but has also been a historic backbone to support the development of the Argentinian economy since then. Having issued bank notes for more than seventy years, it created its historical archive in 1903. Since then, it has kept its historical and artistic heritage and is open to public survey through the Historical Archive and Museum “Dr Arturo Jauretche”. Both its collection of documents dating from the XIII century to present times, and its specialized in banking topics library, make this museum one the most important sources of our economic history.
