We also provide information on similar sources in libraries in the United States. La historia de la banca constituye un campo de investigación cada vez más rico y diverso en la investigación sobre la historia económica de Latinoamérica. En este ensayo presento aspectos centrales de la historia bancaria comentarios sobre las fuentes para el estudio de la historia de la banca en Europa con especial atención a dichas fuentes en Alemania, Francia, Gran Bretaña y España.
