Sumario:The letters between surveyors are part of the correspondence maintained from the rural towns by the surveyors in charge of Comisión para el arreglo de los pueblos y sus ejidos with the president of the Topographic Department, between February of 1854 and June ends of 1856. It is not a well-known documentation, but it is interesting one for different lines of investigation. The correspondence is located in the first years of the Estado de Buenos Aires in a context of political, institutional and social transformations. The reading of these letters takes to think about the contexts of production of official documents.
