On one hand, the repressive mechanisms implemented during the last military dictatorship have been explored; on the other hand, the implementation of reparation policies determined by the law of the democratic government of Alfonsin have been poorly studied. In this context, we propose to explore the potential of administrative documents produced by the various units of the Universidad Nacional del Sur for the reconstruction of two processes affecting the teaching staff of the institution layoffs since 1975 and reinstatements during the democratization of the university. En los últimos años las relaciones entre la institución universitaria y el Estado se han constituido en objeto de estudio de investigaciones que buscan comprender las complejidades de la implementación en y por parte de las universidades de las políticas estatales. En esta línea, por una parte, se han explorado los mecanismos represivos puestos en práctica durante la última dictadura militar; por otra parte, la implementación de las políticas de reparación determinadas por la legislación del gobierno democrático de Alfonsín ha sido escasamente estudiada. En este marco, nos proponemos explorar las potencialidades de la documentación administrativa producida por las diferentes dependencias de la Universidad Nacional del Sur para la reconstrucción de dos procesos que afectaron al personal docente de la institución: las cesantías a partir de 1975 y las reincorporaciones durante la normalización universitaria en el marco de la transición democrática.
