This occurred to the legacy of Miguel Lermon, a set about 13.000 books that collects nineteenth century´s first editions and lots of travel books. It is preserved in the Academia Argentina de Letras (Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires). Among many travel stories, a selection of works signed by women travelers is still waiting to be analyzed. For example, a copy entitled Memoria del viage a Francia de una argentina de la provincia de Buenos Aires, published in 1850 in Marseille. Based on the travel dates and its publication, this can be considered a pioneering work in Argentina travelogue of feminine. The use of this repository will enable the construction of a more complete corpus of women’s travel writing in nineteenth century. Carlos S. A.
