In Argentina, school buildings were attended too and Argentinean professionals took part of this renovation process. Thereafter, it was began a discussion about school buildings and, gradually, new ideas were turned into buildings. Architectural journals played an important role in the transformation of school buildings because of their ability of spreading and its reference position in professional practice. These publications were the scene of the discussion about the subject, spread vanguard examples and showed the national production. Therefore, the publications about school buildings as a whole allow for reconstructing the imaginary about the topic and the configuration process of new models. En los años 30, los nuevos planteamientos en pedagogía, higienismo y arquitectura exigieron la reformulación del edificio escolar, que se convirtió en un tema de interés internacional. En Argentina, la edificación escolar cobró asimismo relevancia y los profesionales tomaron parte en este proceso de renovación. Se inició entonces un debate sobre el edificio escolar y, paulatinamente, las nuevas ideas se tradujeron en obras construidas. Las revistas de arquitectura desempeñaron un papel importante en la transformación del edificio escolar, por su capacidad de difusión y su condición de referencia para el ejercicio profesional. Estas publicaciones fueron escenario del debate sobre el tema, difundieron ejemplos de vanguardia y recogieron la producción nacional.
