| Sumario: | The following paper contains an examination of the Catholic magazine Criterio during the years between 1928 and 1966 on the basis of a set of historiographical and methodological considerations. For these purposes, we will introduce the journal, originally established in 1928, and its historical trajectory, taking into account its recomposition after the death of Gustavo Franceschi and the entry of a young generation in the 1960s. Thereafter, the inquiry focuses on the historiographical controversy surrounding Criterio’s nature as a heuristic object in the first years of its existence, the relationship with the hierarchy in the 1960s and, later on, we propose a quantitative approach to the contributors between 1955 and 1966.Criterio magazine |
