Sumario:In the Historical Archive of the Faculty of Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, thepersonal archive of the Mexican physician José Joaquín Izquierdo y Raudón, who distinguished himself forpenetrating the field of physiology and the history of science, is safeguarded. The documentation that ispreserved contains largely correspondence with different national and international figures of disciplinessuch as medicine, history and anthropology, among others. Concerning the letters stand out those heldbetween Izquierdo and some Nobel Laureates in Physiology and Medicine, among which are the argentinedoctor Bernardo Alberto Houssay, distinguished in 1947 with this award. This article aims to publicize therich information contained in this historical collection in relation to the correspondence between Izquierdoand Houssay, which had not been worked or consulted to date.
