Sumario:This article analyses recent scholarship about social inequalities from the perspective of gendered social history of labour. Specifically, it focusses on the history of working classes in Argentina from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present time. Its main purpose is to identify some of the themes, problems and periods that had received more attention. In order to do that, it intends to point out the main contributions of such scholarships, as well as the theoretical and methodological challenges it faced. It concludes by proposing some possible ways to broaden the historiographical agenda by identifying work experiences, historical agents and periods scarcely visited until now.
