His archive is preserved at the Museo de la Ciudad (Buenos Aires, Argentina) since the 80’s. This article aims to present the survey and research on the archive, and to offer an account of its particularities as well as the ones of its location. The project was launched as part of the 2017’s accord between San Martín University -on the part of TAREA-Instituto de Investigacionessobre el Patrimonio Cultural- and Museo de la Ciudad, with the aim of promoting collaboration for investigation, cataloguing and setting rules of intervention on its heritage. Project’s initial stages have brought out a photographic survey of the collection and the development of a database. Furthermore, an exhibition was organized with a significant selection of Bourquin’s photographic and documental material. Gaston Bourquin (Suiza, 1890-Argentina, 1950) se cuenta entre los paisajistas -urbanos y rurales-, y editores de postales más importantes en el país durante la primera mitad del siglo pasado. Su archivo se encuentra en el Museo de la Ciudad (Buenos Aires, Argentina) desde la década de 1980. Este texto tiene por objetivo dar a conocer el trabajo de relevamiento e investigación del mismo, dando cuenta de sus particularidades yde su lugar de guarda. El proyecto se enmarcó en un convenio firmado en 2017 entre la Universidad de San Martín -por TAREA-Instituto de Investigaciones sobre el Patrimonio Cultural- y el Museo de la Ciudad, con el fin de promover la colaboración para el conocimiento, catalogación, investigación y puesta en valor de su patrimonio. Los resultados preliminares fueron un relevamiento gráfico integral y la elaboración de una base de datos.
