An exploratory and reflective journey is proposed about the complex relationship of this sporting practice with respect to the differentiation between masculine and feminine and that is reflected in a search for equality and non-discrimination as components of human dignity, a necessary axiological component for consecration of Human Rights. El presente artículo pretende analizar desde una perspectiva de Derechos Humanos a la disciplina del fútbol femenino, desde su consideración histórica y la consiguiente búsqueda de lograr una mayor participación y protagonismo. Se propone un recorrido exploratorio y reflexivo acerca de la compleja relación de esta práctica deportiva con respecto a la diferenciación entre lo masculino y femenino y que se refleja en una búsqueda de igualdad y no discriminación como componentes de la dignidad humana, componente axiológico necesario para la consagración de los Derechos Humanos.
