Sumario:This article presents the advances of a historical-archaeological investigation of a site of domestic properties associated with the process of colonization and industrialization of the province of Santa Fe result of the execution of the laying the Central Argentine Railway during the last third of the 19th century. For it there are articulated the historical, archaeological and ethnographic records relating to occupations from construction to demolition (1875 - 1953) of the Manor House. Focusing on this opportunity on the study of historical documents and on the managerial decisions of his builder and original owner Mr. Tomas Thomas. Combining it with regional history it provides a basis for approaching the exercise of power materialized in everyday life generated a new space with an economic, social and cultural structure completely different from the taken one improve before in the environment that surrounds it.
