Sumario:This paper aims to describe the activities carried out at Secondary School “Annex 3012” of the School of Media Education No. 1 situated in Magdalena city in Buenos Aires province. The Annex 3012 is located in Julio Arditi, a small village located within the jurisdiction of Magdalena. The proposal arises from the interest of the young students of this institution from delve in the history of the Julio Arditi town. Consequently, they decided to connect to and work along with the team of archeologists working in the area. In this way, a joint project took shape aimed at the revaluation of local history by recognizing the archeology as means of access to the past. Special Emphasis was placed on local participation for the construction of the collective history and the historical heritage, considered a social unifying, which is built through a dynamic and anchored process in the present. It also selects and interprets the past thus generating a collective appropriation and value of it. This experience contributes to the circulation, integration and redefinition of those knowledge that constitute local collective memory in relation to its historical heritage. Those knowledge contribute to the construction of processes related identity, belonging and community perception, while allowing integration of knowledge from different generations.
