Sumario:Analysis of graffiti in studies of art in rocks is one of the main topics investigated by archeology. It has been approached from different positions in terms of its importance as a means of communication, expression and as graphical analysis document for social, ideological and historical contexts of their production considerations. Interest in this evidence is the high visual and destructive impact on the conservation of the archaeological record. In the case of the Sistema Serrano de Ventania of the Province of Buenos Aires, the presence of graffitis on rock art sites are a constant variable across time, having identified a wide variety of types. Within the broad repertoire of contemporary habitants names, representations of pictures of football, and religious iconography were recorded, among others. In this context the presence of a particular type of graffiti made with unique features within the set calligraphic relieved stands. This work is a first approach to the study of historical identities of the region from the comparative analysis of graffiti and its relations with establishments of the early twentieth century in Tornquist Province of Buenos Aires.
