Sumario:Between 2004 and 2009, the ProArHEP team carried out archaeological diggings in the house sited in Las Heras 466 of the Luján city, where Florentino Ameghino lived during his childhood. Great quantities of artifacts were recovered and, among them, near 2600 glass artifacts. Later, in June 2011, a fortuitous finding was made by construction workers in the backyard of this house. It provided 477 glass artifacts but, as they were not found in an archaeological digging, they could only be used as comparative materials. In this paper we show the results of the analysis done on both sets of glass artifacts and the conclusions we reached after comparing them.
