| Sumario: | In this paper we present the state of progress of the archaeological investigations that are being carried out on the western slope of the Sierra del Aguilar. Partial results of superficial surveys and architectural record are exposed. As a methodological strategy, the Constructive Mode category is used for the classification of architectural features, which allows comparisons to be made between different sites. Another methodological criterion is the application of the concept “persistent place” to understand the use and recurrent reuse of certain spaces in these areas. About the chronology, questions are raised about the continuity of human occupation of this area after the 13th century. |
