Sumario:This paper presents the results of bioarchaeological, paleodietary, and funerary analysis carried out in two pre-Hispanic funerary contexts corresponding to the late Holocene, located in the Quebrada de Los Corrales (El Infiernillo, Tucumán). The current investigation constitutes an approximation to the life history of these individuals, through the study of their skeletal and dental remains (estimation of sex and age of death, state of health, disease, diet, etc.) which allowed to know the various stressful situations suffered throughout his life. The funeral practices of both groups were also analyzed, by evaluating the archaeological context, which contributed to the understanding of the conceptions of these pre-hispanic societies about death. The research area has few cases of bioarchaeological studies, so the exhaustive study of both funerary contexts is of utmost importance.
