| Sumario: | The results of archaeological surveys carried out in different places of Pampa de Achala, Pampa de San Luis and Pampa de Olaen (Córdoba, Argentina) and some data that came from the excavation of four of the identified archaeological sites are shown in this paper. In the light of new evidences, the different mechanisms related to the prehispanic food producers (ca. 1.200-300 BP) land use of the upper Córdoba mountain grassland range are considered. These elements let us understand some central aspects of the subsistence-settlement strategies of the prehistoric agricultural groups and its variability, in a region with a marked environmental heterogeneity and with particular articulation form among different ecological settings. |
