Sumario:This paper presents the results of the data gathered from the surveying works made in the Río Grande de Valle Hermoso valley, in the northern part of La Rioja (Argentina). Three archaeological sites were located: La Punta, Los Alanices and Valle Hermoso km 38, these last one of bigger dimensions. In all of them surface material (ceramics and lithics), were present. These field data is part of the current PhD research that has as final goal to determinate and understand how the Aguada populations built the landscape they inhabitated in the valley during the Regional Integration Period (ca. 600-1100 A.D).
