Sumario:The results of the macro and submacroscopic analysis of techno-morphological and functional characteristics of common pottery sherds, from the excavated enclosure of Late site Campo de Carrizal (Hualfín Valley, Belen Department, Catamarca), are presented. Preliminary analysis suggests the existence of two groups of vessels: those used for cooking and other ones used to store food.
