| Sumario: | This paper is inserted in the advancing research in town of Concepcion de la Sierra, Misiones. Here is the old Jesuit reduction “Nuestra Señora de la Concepción”, presenting an archaeological materiality of the Jesuit- Guaraní period, inserted in a contemporary urban context. Therefore, our studies are headed to observation of space reuse and registration of archaeological materials present in the place, either at surface and subsurface. Mostly, the main purpose of this article is to present a first approximation to the study of archaeological sites in the Guaraní jesuitic heritage in Concepcion de la Sierra, which is integrated with part of the actual daily life of their own community. |
