Sumario:Following the rescue of a partially looted tomb on the site Campo de los Indios in the middle sector of the Cajón Valley (Catamarca, Northwestern Argentina), contextual, bioarchaeological and chronological information is presented. Other evidences of funerary contexts in the area excavated in the late XIX century and early XX century are reviewed to characterize the Late Period funerary landscape in this part of the valley to revalue the meager and heterogeneous available evidence.
