Sumario:The Lago Meliquina site presents botanical remains with chronologies between 920 and 750 years BP. In this paper we describe and discuss the implications of the archaeological presence of Araucaria araucana, this species was identified at site through anthracological studies carried out from carbonized remains that were used for burning and building structures.
