Sumario:Objective: To know the adherence to the alimentary patterns identified in the province of Córdoba in women diagnosed with Breast Cancer (BC), who attend the Model Institute of Gynecology and Obstetrics and its control group from the province of Córdoba during the years 2020 - 2021. Methodology: A descriptive correlational-cross-sectional study was carried out in 37 women with BC and 24 without BC. Applied an adapted food frequency questionnaire validated by Navarro et al. Foods were grouped according to their nutritional characteristics. Then, the adhesion score (low, medium, high) was calculated to 3 alimentary patterns (Traditional, Southern Cone, and Prudent), previously identified by the GEACC in a population-based study, through distribution tertiles. Results: It was observed that women with breast cancer had greater adherence to the pattern Traditional (refined cereals with and without fat, pastries, cold cuts) and Southern Cone (meats fats, fats, and cheeses) with respect to the control group (32.4% and 16.2%; and 16.7% and 8.3% respectively in high adherence). While 64.9% of people with BC diagnosis and 41.7% without a diagnosis had high adherence to the Prudent pattern. Conclusions: It is important to adopt healthy eating habits such as one of the factors for preventing BC
