This table included twenty-four original works by specialists from different institutions in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. It was because of the large number of papers received for the roundtable - the largest number in the last 20 years -, the quality of the presentations and the discussions that generated that it was decided to publish this dossier. It constitutes a collective effort of the authors who responded to the invitation, the evaluators who contributed to improve each work and the editorial team of the Journal of the Museum of Anthropology of the FFyH of the National University of Córdoba; to all of them our gratitude. El dossier Arqueología del Litoral reúne una selección de las comunicaciones presentadas en la Mesa de Arqueología del Nordeste Argentino (NEA) del XVIII Congreso Nacional de Arqueología Argentina (CNAA), organizado por la Universidad Nacional de La Rioja en abril de 2013. Esta mesa incluyó veinticuatro trabajos originales de especialistas de distintas instituciones de Argentina, Uruguay y Brasil. Fue a partir de la importante cantidad de trabajos recibidos para la mesa -el mayor número de los últimos 20 años-, de la calidad de las exposiciones y las discusiones que generaron que se decidió publicar el presente dossier. El mismo constituye un esfuerzo colectivo de los autores que respondieron a la invitación, los evaluadores que contribuyeron a mejorar cada trabajo y el equipo editorial de la Revista del Museo de Antropología de la FFyH de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba; a todos ellos nuestro agradecimiento.
