Sumario:The beginnings of the formal education of the political economy are linked to law schools or legal disciplines, which are among the first in the old universities, after the chairs of theology, philosophy and Latin. Then these studies acquire academic independence in the new schools and / or faculties of economic sciences, although in law schools they continue their teaching as a complement to their respective careers. Therefore, the work is developed following this historical event.
