He works in both advertising and fiction and his favorite technique is stop motion, through which he explores different materialities and expressive possibilities to create worlds, vignettes of alternative universes that interweave with the possibilities of everyday life. His work proposes to look again and experience in another way the limits of reality, between fiction, humor and artistic sensitivity. In the following lines, we share a brief interview with Juan Pablo Zaramella that reflects on his professional career, his artistic interests, the use of technologies, and the dynamics of the animation industry in Argentina. Juan Pablo Zaramella es uno de los realizadores de animación más destacados de este tiempo. Trabaja tanto en publicidad como en ficción y su técnica predilecta es el stop motion, a través del cual explora con distintas materialidades y posibilidades expresivas, para crear mundos, viñetas de universos alternativos que se imbrican en las posibilidades de lo cotidiano. Su obra propone volver a mirar y experimentar de otro modo los límites de lo real, entre la ficción, el humor y la sensibilidad artística. En las líneas que siguen, se comparte una breve entrevista a Juan Pablo Zaramella en donde convergen la reflexión de su trayectoria profesional, sus búsquedas artísticas, las tecnologías y las dinámicas de la industria de la animación en Argentina.
