Sumario:In the present work, based on the case analysis of the Environmental Impact Studies (EsIA) of the Autovía AlternativaRuta 38 project (Valle de Punilla, Córdoba, Argentina), we point out the socio-environmental conflicts as ontological conflicts in which, to the hegemonic paradigm of the earth/nature understanding(extrativist-capitalist-scientist-colonial-patriarchal-racial) alternative conceptions (relational natures) are confronted. In addition to understanding the EsIA as a materialization of this hegemonic conception of nature, we reflect on the role that the academy plays in its generation, reproduction and strengthening. Finally, we collect some of the contributions that from the struggles in Punilla and other spaces of struggle and re-existence are being built in the recovery of "other views", of other possible earth/natures and other non-normalizing ways of producing knowledge and living that show us the horizon towards which to walk to overcome the civilization crisis in which we are immersed.
