A standardized sociodemographic datasheet and the Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS) were used to collect data. Through a multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), the results indicated that teacher sex has an effect on emotional exhaustion, whereas educational management has a significant effect on emotional exhaustion and professional efficacy. The implications of the study´s results, limitations, and recommendations are discussed.
